Hey everyone,
I'm Carrie, the founder of the Lesbian Culture Club (LCC), and I'm thrilled to welcome you to our new space! As a long-time Portlander and CEO of Good & Gold, I'm passionate about creating connections and fostering a vibrant community for the contemporary lesbian and queer community, welcoming all who identify with and find value in that.
About Me
I grew up in the Pacific Northwest, with roots in Bellevue, WA, and a diverse background in film and marketing. After studying at the Brooks Institute of Photography in Ventura, CA, and working in Los Angeles, I moved to Portland in 2007. Here, I found my calling, leading me to launch Good & Gold, a digital marketing agency that champions growth and innovation. When I'm not working, you'll find me exploring the outdoors, spending time with my family, or experimenting in the kitchen.
The Vision for LCC
The Lesbian Culture Club was born from my desire to create a dynamic and inclusive space where we can celebrate our identities, support one another, and build lasting connections. Portland, with its rich lesbian culture (the highest community of lesbians per capita in the US), deserves a hub that brings us together through intimate dinners, sports activities, art shows, and workshops.
What We Offer
- Clubhouse: This is our interactive bulletin board where members can connect over shared interests like sports, events, and activities. Need a tennis partner? Have an extra ticket to a Thorns game? The Clubhouse is your go-to space, soon to be available as an app launching in late August.
- Community Page: This is where we invite our members to share their talents and volunteer. Whether you're an expert baker wanting to teach a class, a fitness instructor looking to host an LCC-exclusive session, or simply someone eager to help out, this is your space to contribute and make a difference.
- Membership: Explore various ways to be part of LCC, from gourmet dinning experiences like our Supper Clubs to happy hours and sports tournaments. Our membership page outlines all the exciting opportunities available to you.

- Pride Event: In collaboration with HappyLuky, join us on July 20th for a vibrant celebration.
- Supper Club Series: Our first 5-course dinner under the oak tree at Topaz Farm is on August 21st. This event promises a magical evening of connection and culinary delight.
