We are grown-ass lesbians who found ourselves longing for more time with our people. For the particular magic of looking around a room and realizing: oh, these are my people. The kind of belonging that feels exciting, easy, and a little electric.
We used to find it at queer dance parties and lesbian bars. We still love those places, but we wanted more ways to be together. Around dinner tables. On tennis courts. In galleries, bookstores, rivers, restaurants, and rooms we hadn't been invited into yet.
So instead of longing for it, we decided to create it.
Why We Exist
We believe queer life should be expansive.
Lesbian Culture Club exists to bring lesbians, queer women, trans and nonbinary people together around culture, conversation, creativity, and a very good time.
We’re here for friendship and flirtation. New ideas and old friends. Dinner tables, dance floors, tennis courts, bookstores, rivers, galleries, and wherever else interesting people might find one another.
Because belonging matters. So does joy. And life is better when we make room for both.
What We Do
We make things worth showing up for.
LCC creates gatherings, stories, collaborations, adventures, and other reasons to leave the house. Some are intimate. Some are exuberant. Some teach you something. Some introduce you to someone you might never have met otherwise.
Everything we do is considered with an eye toward who is in the room, whose voices are being heard, and how we can make the world around LCC more expansive, welcoming, and interesting.
The specifics will keep evolving. That’s part of the point.
Our Team
Carrie Hinton, Founder & CEO
Corrie Hinton (she/they) is an entrepreneur, creative strategist, and community builder based in Portland, Oregon. She is the founder of Lesbian Culture Club, a cultural membership club creating new ways for queer people to meet, connect, collaborate, and belong.
Before LCC, Corrie founded and led creative agency Good & Gold, which she sold in 2026 after more than a decade working at the intersection of brand, culture, design, and growth. Today, through Good Omen, she advises founders and organizations navigating growth, transition, and reinvention.
Her work is rooted in a fascination with people: what brings them together, what makes an idea resonate, and how culture gets made. Outside of work, Corrie is usually cooking, making art, hiking, planning a trip, or finding a reason to get interesting people around the same table.
Catie Keck, Director of Editorial Features
Catie (she/her) is a storyteller and editorial strategist focused on amplifying queer voices and the cultural moments that shape them. As Director of Editorial Features for the Lesbian Culture Club, she leads the platform’s longform storytelling and digital cover stories, spotlighting the artists, creators, thinkers, and activists shaping queer culture today.A longtime journalist and editor,Catie’s bylines have appeared in Rolling Stone, New York Magazine, Complex Magazine, and Jezebel, among other publications big and small. Her work centers on the people behind the culture as well as the stories, perspectives, and experiences that shape what they do. Outside of editorial work,Catieis an Olympic weightlifter, a relentless consumer of audiobooks, and usually halfway through at least three conversations that are probably the start of a good story.
