About Lesbian Culture Club
Lesbian Culture Club is a membership-based cultural organization creating opportunities for queer women, trans, and nonbinary people to connect through events, experiences, outdoor adventures, conversation, creativity, and culture.
We're building the kind of club we wish existed: thoughtful, stylish, welcoming, and deeply human.
From happy hours and artist talks to outdoor adventures and dinner parties, LCC exists to help people find connection, friendship, inspiration, and belonging.
As we continue to grow, we're looking for someone who can help transform ideas into organized action and help build the systems that allow the club to scale sustainably.
The Opportunity
LCC is looking for a Director of Programs & Partnerships to help drive programming, partnerships, membership growth, and organizational execution.
This role sits between strategy and implementation.
You'll work closely with the Founder to determine priorities, build plans, coordinate initiatives, and ensure projects move forward. You'll help create structure, accountability, and momentum across a growing organization with big ambitions and limited resources.
This is not simply an event-planning role. We're looking for a strategic producer, operator, and project leader who can help build the next chapter of Lesbian Culture Club.
Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Organizational Leadership
- Partner with the Founder to establish quarterly priorities and goals
- Help evaluate opportunities, partnerships, events, and initiatives
- Identify what should be pursued, postponed, delegated, or eliminated
- Maintain project plans, timelines, ownership, and accountability
- Create systems and processes that reduce founder dependency
- Anticipate obstacles and proactively solve problems
- Help bring operational clarity to a fast-moving organization
Programming & Experiences
- Lead planning and execution of LCC programming and experiences
- Maintain a seasonal programming calendar
- Coordinate logistics, timelines, budgets, communications, and execution
- Create repeatable systems, templates, and checklists
- Support member experiences, outdoor programming, workshops, networking events, and special projects
- Ensure experiences reflect the quality, taste, and values of the LCC brand
Membership Growth
- Help connect programming and partnerships to membership growth
- Improve member onboarding and engagement
- Build systems that convert event attendees into members
- Support implementation of new member benefits and initiatives
- Help track membership growth, engagement, and retention
- Evaluate which programs create the greatest value for members
Partnerships & Sponsorships
- Build and manage a pipeline of sponsors, collaborators, and community partners
- Conduct outreach and relationship management
- Coordinate sponsor fulfillment and partnership activation
- Identify opportunities that expand visibility, membership, and revenue
- Help develop sponsorship packages and partnership opportunities
Team Coordination
- Coordinate priorities across a small team of contractors, collaborators, and volunteers
- Ensure projects have clear owners and deadlines
- Track deliverables and follow up as needed
- Help create accountability and operational consistency
Ideal Candidate
You might be a fit if you are:
- Highly organized
- Proactive and resourceful
- Comfortable with ambiguity
- Strong at project management and execution
- A thoughtful communicator
- Able to balance strategy and logistics
- Experienced coordinating multiple projects simultaneously
- Passionate about community, culture, events, and relationship-building
You understand how to move ideas from concept to completion. You know when to say "yes," when to say "not yet," and when to say "no." You care about details without losing sight of the bigger picture.
Experience in community building, events, partnerships, nonprofits, membership organizations, hospitality, creative production, or brand marketing is a plus.
